Agriculture at the Heart of Rural Development
Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood for about 58% of India’s population. Yet despite this enormous workforce, farmer incomes in India remain among the lowest globally. At Matrix Society, we design and implement agriculture-focused programs to maximize the earnings of farmers and those engaged in allied agricultural activities.
We form Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), promote sustainable farming practices, connect farmers to government schemes, and build water and dairy infrastructure — empowering rural communities to thrive.
What We Do
FPO Formation & Capacity Building
Forming and strengthening Farmer Producer Organisations, building governance capacity and market linkages for member farmers.
Government Scheme Connectivity
Awareness programs connecting farmers to schemes and facilities of Haryana and central governments.
Non-Farm Sector Promotion
Training and capacity building for agricultural labourers and allied activity workers.
Integrated Dairy Development
Formal training and connectivity for women to dairy sector schemes and opportunities.
Water Resource Management
Surveying and promoting drinking water, groundwater, and rainwater harvesting infrastructure in rural areas.
Solar Irrigation
Solar pump installation at gram panchayats for low-cost, sustainable irrigation for small farmers.
PRA-Based Village Development
Participatory Rural Appraisal activities for village-level planning and development.
