Livelihood Promotion
From forming 5,000+ Self Help Groups to establishing micro enterprises, Matrix Society works to put economic power in the hands of the people.
Sustainable Livelihoods — Beyond Poverty
The concept of Sustainable Livelihood goes beyond conventional poverty
eradication approaches. It addresses not just income, but vulnerability, social exclusion, and long-term self-reliance. Since 2003, Matrix Society has partnered with NABARD, NULM, REC, RAILTEL, and multiple CSR bodies to design and deliver livelihood programs that empower communities to earn, save, and grow.
We have formed and strengthened more than 5,000 Self Help Groups across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, NCT of Delhi, Rajasthan, and Bihar. We have also established micro-enterprises, production centers, and railway kiosk employment programs to create lasting economic change.
